1 question, It's about cloud chat. Can we make some sort of FREE chat but we would detect for SH in a word etc, This would prevent anyone from seeing a list of swear words in a project and could highly prevent ANY swear words from coming through the system. I also could block hate words like, I hate you, or 1 H@te you or I H@te you an so on. I find that this system would also help prevent bullying, Also I would moderate my chat project and any swear words you try to get around would get a temp ban from the project (inside the project, not on the Scratch Platform) any hate, you would get a warning, and if you get 2 warnings you get a temp ban. If you would keep dis-obeying the rules in the project it would result in a permanent ban or a really long one, Does this sound OK? I am trying to make a project that is basically chat for children and also since the project and I are not popular, It would hardly affect anyone that is using the project.

i wouldn’t say so. perhaps i misunderstood your post, but it seems like it includes a blacklist? “blacklist” chats, where you can type anything except for a list of banned words, aren’t allowed on scratch, mainly because of the low chance it’ll result in cyberbullying and the like. besides, it’s not like you’ll be online 24/7 to moderate the chat, hm? also, programming the bans seems extremely difficult, and besides, users could just use another account or network to bypass the ban.
you’re better off making a chatroom with pre-made phrases, like “How’s your day?” or “Good morning!”, which are allowed on scratch and are generally safer.

No, cloud chats are not allowed on Scratch, even if you have a whitelist. However, you can still have chat functionality in your project if you use just a few pre-made sentences in your project. See this post by the Scratch Team for more information: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/357609/

Adding on, even if many Scratchers wanted this feature, the Scratch Team will not be adding cloud chat functionality, as it is in The Official List of Rejected Suggestions.
1.10 Letters in cloud variables
Some users would like an easy way to set cloud variables to values which include letters. Such a feature was present in the beta version of Scratch 2.0. However, allowing letters in cloud variables would cause a lot of moderation issues. For instance, it would make it too easy to make inappropriate cloud chat projects; for more information, see #3.1 on this list. Hence the feature was removed, and so cloud variables can now only be set to numeric values.
By encoding and decoding, it is possible to simulate letters in cloud variables. In reality, however, this is just using numbers in cloud variables and letters in normal variables.
3.1 Chat projects with cloud variables
Although it is possible to make a chat project using cloud variables, it is not allowed to make such a project. This is because there is a high potential for bullying and inappropriate messages, and the Scratch Team does not have the resources to moderate these chat rooms.
Chat projects on Scratch which contained a whitelist (that is, the user could only chat using certain words) used to be allowed on Scratch. Over time, however, the moderation issues got too high, and some users attempted to use such projects to get around the Community Guidelines. As a result, the Scratch Team has decided that these kinds of projects are not allowed on the Scratch website, even if they contain a whitelist of words. However, whitelisted phrases are okay, provided that users cannot freely write their own sentences using the cloud chat project.
