Should I still credit a person for specific code, even if the person has done terrible things?
EDIT: I’ll continue crediting them dw!!
I honestly don’t know what to do, I’m not going to explain what this scratcher did but they did some terrible things, people even made a full google doc on what they have done
The problem is I use their code in pretty much every project of mine, so I credit them for it, but I really don’t wanna draw peoples attention to them (although they are inactive)
I could just not use their code I guess? Although that code is pretty much impossible for me not to use in my content as it makes things so much easier.

Since you’re supposed to always credit the source of code in Scratch, yes.
Or make your own code to do the same thing.
Or make your own code to do the same thing.

According to Community Guidelines:
Remixing is a great way to collaborate and connect with other Scratchers. You are encouraged to use anything you find on Scratch in your own creations, as long as you provide credit to everyone whose work you used and make a meaningful change to it. And when you share something on Scratch, you are giving permission to all Scratchers to use your work in their creations, too.So, yes, you still should.

You are legally required to. Everything on Scratch must be credited; not doing so constitutes copyright infringement per the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike License.

Absolutely. It may be against cc-by-sa 2.0 laws if you do not (I'm not sure if this applies to code, but it is for costumes and sounds etc). If the person has done terrible things you should report the terrible things. If people are disappointed that you used the “terrible persons” code you should report the comments.

technically what you can do is reference the code and try re-making it yourself, and then technically you could call the code your own(because you made it while referencing the original).
tbh the code's not that complicated from what I examined, although that may just be me.
also fun fact, I was once compared to that guy. not quite proud of it though

I should mention, that if you don't want to have to credit somebody, just use a clean-room clone made by yourself, like how those IBM PC Compatibles were made.
