how do you download projects from scratch website onto the scratch program

If a project is made in 2.0, you can't download it into Scratch 1.4.

Is it possible to download 2.0 artwork (costumes, sprites) to version 1.4. There's a lot invested in that process.

A sprite cannot be downloaded from Scratch 2.0 into Scratch 1.4, because Scratch 2.0 sprites are saved in .swf2 format, and Scratch 1.4 only reads .swf format files. You can, however, put a costume from Scratch 2.0 into Scratch 1.4. It cannot be a vector one, though, only a bitmap costume. This can be done by right-clicking on a costume's logo and saving to a local file, because it saves the costume in, I think, .png by default, which Scratch 1.4 can read.

I don't think you can even download projects anymore.. That's what i was wondering. How do u download projects onto 1.4 on my computer.. not the online one?
