Hello forums! I have made this thread to find users who want to help me with development of my Scratch project called “Classic OS” which is a computer simulator… but it isn’t just any computer simulator!

With Classic OS, you can use my program like a real computer, with applications, an internet browser (Disclaimer: this isn’t a real internet browser, but it does simulate a real one! Read more to find out how to use this), a marketplace to install user made themes, programs, wallpapers, you also have all the features on a normal computer!

Currently, it isn’t complete, which is why I have come here to ask everyone for suggestions and user submissions!

How does this work? You can suggest and/or create a custom program for Classic OS, it can be a game, a movie maker, an alarm clock, you can even make your own custom websites (disclaimer: these are fake websites for my fake internet browser) or you can make wallpapers and themes to design your own custom interface!

Ah yes a better than ever computer simulator where Speakerpro2 wants it to be so retro it takes away all the creativity from a smooth design.

But seriously, Speaker, not everybody wants retro.

When did I say it was “Retro” it is just a computer simulator with a Windows 2000 theme, that doesn’t mean it is restricted to ONLY being about operating systems from the late 90s and 2000s, why do you think you are allowed to submit custom apps and themes? To make it how you want!

How about a suggested page in the app store/search engine. It suggests random webpages/games

Alright, sounds cool, ill definitely add a way to see new apps and to find random things on the store. Maybe the most popular themes, games, or wallpapers will get featured sometime… who knows? You just got to feature one

Almost every scratch OS has the features you have
Your OS is not unique

I guess it means ClassicOS is now ClassicOS Emulator

A lot of Scratch OSes have a browser, and a marketplace.

The “reading user data” is mainly filler (the wait time is at least) but at the end it checks for my username to ban me from it. It also doesnt let signed out people use the project.

Variables for text bc he was lazy and wanted to ban me quick. Idk.

Big apps bc not a lot of apps, he (and I) will probably make them smaller when we have more apps.

BSOD fun bc yes. Idk. Shutdown coming soon?

Taskbars can be too plain? They’re just taskbars.

Linintel is, well, idk. Processing system? Anyways the thing is based off of Windows Classic OS, which also has “linintel”.

Idk why he didnt add windowed screens be able to turn into full screen.

I agree to about everything else though.

Oh, Linintel is a mix of Intel and Lenovo. Lmao

You can't really “ban” people from projects, because they can always change the project's code.

You can't really “ban” people from projects, because they can always change the project's code.
