Hey, I was thinking, maybe we could have a JWC Leader Games and Activities forum, that is separate from the regular leader forum. I think that having a separate place to chat and play games would be nice so we can get to know each other and have fun, without filling up the regular leader forum. The games would be like would-you-rather questions or writing games. I have a lot of ideas, and I could run them.

Leaders would follow both the regular leader forum and the games forum so they would be updated. What do you think?

That would be fun! A studio might be easier though.

Alright! Do you want to make it the same day we announce leader apps? We can prepare the desc beforehand so all we have to do is copy and paste it and add in a thumb.

• October 31st - Leader forum and Leader hangout studio are posted & Leader results are given before 11:59 p.m. UTC time

• November 14th - Separate forums should be made for the memory book and writing comp committees

• November 15th - Main cabin studio is finished by Dawn & (co)Leaders are split into memory book and writing comp committees

• November 20th - (co)Leaders choose their word-adding method for their cabins

• November 25th - Dawn has come up with the rules for writing fight :D

• November 26th - Cabin studios are finalized with thumbnails and descriptions

• November 28th - JWC promo projects should be posted (for those who checked the box)

• November 30th - Dailies and weeklies are finished by the hosts & Leaders are asked to create examples for the weeklies

• December 10th - Examples for the weeklies are finished by the leaders

• December 15th - Weeklies are finalized (with examples included) by hosts

• December 20th - All cabins should have their cabin most-likely-tos planned out, and everyone should be planning in their group (memory book or writing comp) what projects will be posted by who.

• December 26th - Camper Sign-Ups are closed & Memory book sub-themes (gems) are due to be decided

• December 28th - All campers have been sorted by me

• December 29th - Campers are notified what cabins they are in and asked about featured writing

• December 31st - A list of featured writings has been compiled & The main cabin point counting project comes out by Dawn

• January 2nd - The first main cabin weekly is up. Word wars project is posted by me!

• January 8th - Cabin wars! Weekly 1 is due at 11:59 p.m. on the 8th UTC time.

• January 9th - The second main cabin weekly starts.

• January 15th - Weekly 2 is due at 11:59 p.m. on the 15th UTC time.

• January 20th - The writing comp project comes out. Writing Fight! (Day to submit bios but no fighting yet)

• January 21st - Writing Fight! (Fighting starts and bios can be submitted)

• January 22nd - Writing Fight! (Fighting continues and bios are no longer accepted) & Weekly 3 is due at 11:59 p.m. on the 22nd UTC time. & The memory book cover voting project comes out.

• January 23rd - The fourth and final main cabin weekly starts.

• January 27th - The writing comp closes at 11:59 p.m. on the 27th UTC time.

• January 28th - Each cabin has their campers vote for most-likely-tos & The memory book cover voting project closes at 11:59 p.m. UTC time.

• January 29th - Weekly 4 is due at 11:59 p.m. on the 29th UTC time.

• January 31st - Last day of camp. Only words written before 11:59 p.m. on the 31st UTC time can be added. Most-likely-to voting closes.

• February 3rd - Every cabin should add words from their cabin to count for points.

• February 4th - Every most-likely-to results should be given to the memory book group and quotes for the memory book should be finalized. The writing entries should be judged, and the entries should be sorted into categories.

• February 7th - The writing comp results project comes out and so does the memory book with live results.

And, for the point-counting project, since you're going to be the studio host, who's in charge of counting points, it would probably be better for you to be in charge of this

So I'm working on the leader hangout description and planning the games for it but I'm pretty busy because of school. I was thinking that maybe you could make the thumb for the studio? It's alright if you can't - I was just thinking that it would also give you minutes in SAC. xD

@owlgoing- asked for an extension to the 31st because she has some birthdays and other real life events going on. Should we give her one? I think we should give her one because I personally know that she's an awesome leader and it would be a shame to have her miss the deadline. I'm also a bit worried about not getting enough apps. I'm thinking an extension to the 30th should work.

I understand your concern about the leader apps, but we still have two weeks and only need one more app. I think that at least one full day in between the time when people submit and when we post the leader results would be good so that we have time to decide before we give the results on the 31st. And although we could push back the results because of her extension, I think that it would be a little unfair to the other applicants if we made them have to wait longer.

So I think that giving her an extra day (the 29th at 11:59 p.m. UTC time) would be a compromise so that she had a little extra time, we still had the 30th to decide the leaders, and the schedule stayed the same for the results.
