Basic/Advanced option

I'd like to see an option under the “Account Settings” that covers these features:

1. Basic/Advanced paint editor
Besides the basic paint editor, you could also have an advanced paint editor? I'm sure some scratch artists that don't like the scratch paint editor/don't have a good paint editor to use will like it.
I'm thinking it could have:
~Layers
~Opacity
~Airbrush
~Moar different brushes -3-
~Select Tool/Magic Wand

It would be an OPTION so people could choose whether they want it or not.

This would be a waste of energy for the ST when you realise you could just use this.

I'd think there should also be a few other new functions. Like 2D arrays, maybe? That'd work. If so, support.
Also, more fonts in the paint editor. And the ability to custom regroup blocks
Also, upon opening a project with any special blocks (2D arrays, as I said) there'd be an alert similar to the cloud data alert.

The scratch editor is not meant to be used for complex drawing and will never be good enough for it. You should really use something like Gimp or Photoshop to create your drawings if you feel the Scratch editor is missing functionality.

Not everybody wants to make their paint editor more advanced just because people don't want to download.

Mixed. For most who use Windows they would be annoyed when trying to install a different editing software. Mac users have that problem to a lesser extent. Linux users will find Blender and other software like it in the Software Center, and the better Scratch Editor will slow down the servers.

No support. This would slow down scratch servers and if you wanted extra functionality you should download a program like gimp or photoshop

Support. At least if not to this extent, I do think the Scratch editor should have a few more features as well as an ability to understand other stuff from vector editors.

And as for making graphics in another editor - that's nice, but one you have to download it and two you have to export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Export, save a file, import. Etc… xP
