Really, f4f is literally, undeniably, and whatever word I'm missing, bad. Seriously, I think scratch should flag the term “f4f” to stop spamming and hate.

F4F isn't banned, as long as you don't spam someone with requests. Scratch isn't about followers, meaning F4F is allowed, as it isn't artificially changing site statistics that matter. I agree, it is annoying, but allowed

Most is a lot. The rest just gets annoying sometimes when they comment f4f on a profile that clearly says “I don't do f4f.”.

Hey. If you don't want people to ask you for F4F, politely decline by saying something like, “no thanks” or “I don't do that, sorry” if this doesn't stop people, put a note on your profile asking that people don't do it. If you have done these steps then report people who continue to ask you.

just tell them that you don't do f4f

anyway, f4f isn't a valid way to get followers, but it is technically allowed. if someone's spamming requests you can report them

honestly i used to do f4f. why? in my eyes i appreciated everyone who followed me so i followed them back as a form of appreciation. why don’t i do that anymore? it’s getting annoying, random people trying to get followers in a cheap way.

f4f isn’t banned because it, itself doesn’t break the community guidelines.
what you’re talking about is spamming etc, not f4f.

7.3 Ban “follow for follow” (F4F)
Although many Scratchers do not enjoy seeing follow for follow requests, asking someone to participate in follow for follow is relatively harmless. If someone asks you to do follow for follow, and you do not want to, just politely decline their request. If they keep spamming you with requests, you can use the Report button on their comments.

Considering that banning f4f is rejected, I don't think that they will get rid of it.
