Click the chain links ^ and copy paste your link in then type the thing you want to say. Int he end it should look like this

i don't think you know what i mean,i mean those things that you click on and then it can show you a project for eg sample.

Copy the random strew of letters and numbers in the search bar at top of screen. Then paste into URL after clicking on chain links. After this, click ok and type the text you want to appear into where it says insert text here. That's how to make links.

^He's right. That is what you call a “link”, or did you meant something else?

Link is short for hyperlink, i.e. a ‘clickable’ link that takes you to a URL (could be a website or in this case a Scratch project). When writing your message, either click the ‘chain-link’ icon in the message toolbar or just click Ctrl-L. Write or paste the URL in the box that pops up.
