Shift + left click, shift + right click, or both?

This hasn't happened to me but in the picture it looks like the Y coordinate is being measured from the wrong edge.

Sometimes it is measured from the right edge, sometimes it isn't.

bump

Also getting this glitch in Windows 8.1 but not nearly as bad of an offset as it is in Linux.

This has happened to me before, and I ended up just replacing the batteries in my mouse. I don't remember if that worked.

Well, I'm using a touchpad. It still happens when I use my mouse, though.

I'm using Chrome under Linux and seeing the right-click offset as well. For me, shift-clicking produces a context menu correctly though.

In the editor when I right click it usually acts like I right clicked some where else… for example: I have to right click the bottom right corner of the “Scripts” tab and it will act like I right clicked a piece of code in the top right corner of the script.
It only does this with right click and it's not the computer or the whole site. Just the editor.

Right clicking the sprite area specifically? That is a known bug that happens to some computers.

Can you click the little globe icon next to the Scratchblocks and tell us what your browser / operating system is?

I can click the globe and no matter where I have the mouse when I right click it is still way off… If I right click anything it will think I'm right clicking else. If I right click a block it won't actually right click the block. I can't even right click the scratch logo. I'm using chrome on Windows Server 2012.

Are you using Chrome or a Chome-based derivative browser? We've seen this bug come up before for Chrome users.

It would probably be best if you started your own topic describing your problem.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
