I am agreeing with everyone else here, talking about the blockage of Scratch Auth. This “Scratch Auth blocked by ST” is madness. All we are trying to do is save Scratch Auth, and then the Scratch Team decides to summon a “closing this topic” bomb in front of us. What the heck, Scratch Team? The Scratch Team is just trying to put an end to this madness the wrong way by copy-pasting their usual message: “Sorry if there is some confusion. Please use Contact Us if you want to discuss this further.” They just threw all our plans out the window. I understand that the ST wants to keep Scratchers safe, but blocking Scratch Auth is not a good way of doing that.
Honestly their approach is just like this:
A child is playing with a thing they shouldn't be playing with. A parent walks over, takes said thing, and tells the child “no.”
The reality is that this child will be left completely confused as the parent provided no feedback or guidance to their actions beyond their disciplinary “no.” This child will likely try to play with this said thing again, as they see no reason as to why they shouldn't. And, this kind of response ultimately will cause issues with trust and being insecure, which can still be applied in the context of Scratch Auth, as I myself am somewhat unsure as expressed here.

The alert system as a whole can be quite flawed in this way, in that sometimes you're basically just told “no” with little other feedback or guidance. I get that the moderation team is small, and copy-pasted messages make the most sense, but if you're going out of your way to take down a project twice that you clearly took some time to semi-understand, I'd expect a bit of a better explanation.

That's how it's intended to be.

also if you use incubator then it is even easier becaus incubator signs me out after 2 days
Well I think that's my mistake, I will look into it soon…
one more thing…
if you blankly use the auth, it will redirect u to ocular lagacy
anyone?

aII toasters toast toast, but what happens when there are no longer toasters being produced? will their technology simply become obsolete, with humans moving onto bigger, better things? will toast become a distant memory, written in textbooks of the future as foods us simpler generations ate? who's to say! society is constantly moving, changing, evolving, ideas being built upon, improved upon, theories being proven or disproven. are we but a blip on the timeline? sure, our names may not be remembered, but that's not the point. you can make a change. you can make a difference. you can make the world better, even if you don't know yet. and the first step is to go for it. even if you are afraid of failure. going back to the example of toasters, do you know off the top of your head who invented them? no? have you used one? probably. so, even if you don't remember my name, if I was able to help awnser your question, that is enough. if I was able to help you, even in the slightest way, this could push you to continue with scratch and not give up after the program crashes, and maybe one day learn other programming languages and change the world. everything is a cause and effect reaction, new inventions lead to the technology of the future, and even as the generations of the past are slowly forgotten, their influence lives on to this day, affecting how the world eventually turned out and how it will be for generations to come.

and, without toasters, we wouldn't have toast.

It's really weird that Harakou (an ST member) has an Ocular status, yet Ocular uses Scratch Auth.

That status is all the way from the shefwerld (or postpercent?) days, when ocular didn't exist and statuses were set by others as jokes.
Next post will be cursed

That was a game jam I changed the time on because it would originally start in 9998 and end in 9999.

I shared a link to my post above, as I felt it was relevant to a situation, but I think they misunderstood.

Scratch Auth updates:
  • Performance and stability improvements
  • Custom authentication project: Scratch related websites can now send users through their own authentication projects with the authProject query parameter. Note: the query parameter name must be defined to enable this feature.
