APOTW suggestion: Listen to a song you love and draw something based on the song. It could be how the song makes you feel or what you visualize about the lyrics of the song. Then see what comes out!

WPOTW suggestion:
Look at some art and draw what it makes you feel. Art can hold a lot of meanings, what does that art mean to you? How does it make you feel? Write it down and see what you experience from that piece of art .

WPOTW Suggestion(s):
May 23 ~ May 27th is Water-Saving Week! Compose a list about objects, things, or people related to water (these can be as random as the color of water or situations that may include the use of water) and, based on this list, write a short story. Try to use as many words from your list as you can, and see what effect these words may have on the general plot of your story.
You wake up in a mysterious room. You don’t recognize any of your surroundings. There are test tubes and vials of strange liquid arranged on the shelves around you in a mad-scientist kind of way. In fact, this almost seems like a laboratory. Of course, this isn’t your room. Your room doesn’t look like this. But . . . as you try to remember what your room looks like, your mind goes blank. You don’t remember. You don’t remember anything. Your name, your age, your family, your friends; you can’t recall anything beyond this room. But then, an image flashes by. Yes, you do remember something, the smallest detail your mind could conjure: a pair of ocean blue eyes. Suddenly, a mysterious man dressed in all white steps into the room. You automatically straighten on reflex, and your back tingles with the strange sensation that you've met this man before. “We’ve been waiting for you, Lieutenant,” he says. What happens next?
Write a piece of flash fiction in which the main character cracks a mysterious secret code enclosed in an ancient letter and discovered a long-forgotten secret.
APOTW Suggestion(s):
Texture is something that is often overlooked in drawing. However, artists may find that adding small details (such as gluing strips of rolled-up paper to a dress to mimic overlapping creases and ruffles) can add a lot of depth and style to their art, adding a bit of extra flair to give your art individuality. This week, draw an object or character on a piece of paper–and stick an item, material, or substance to give your artwork texture. Whether it's applying dried glue to imitate spider webs, or sticking coffee filter paper to your illustration to act as flower petals, the possibilites are endless!
Colors can easily impact the emotion a drawing may have on an audience. This week, think about your favorite food and generate a color palette based on the color(s) of this food. Based on these colors, draw a character. Try to encorporate the general emotions the color palette inflicts into your character's personality. For example, if I was drawing based on the colors of red hot chilli pepper, my character could be stubborn and hotheaded–the kind of person who doesn't let anything get in their way. Have fun!
(Yeah, that's probably it for now xD Sorry these might be a bit cringy– my creativity really needs a boost. Also, I just realized this, but I'm not sure if we can only submit these prompts if we're comittee members, so please correct me if I'm wrong about that.
Thanks!)

Hey, Astrid! Anyone who is in the studio can suggest prompts, so don't worry.

WPOTW: What is your favorite object? Write about how that object can change your character's life and set them on a journey.
APOTW: Draw someone in the water, whether they're wading in it or underwater. Make a splash and have fun!

WPOTW suggestion; find a gerator and create a universe. Write about said universe and completely flesh out the characters in that universe. Also, make sure you add a villian and a background character. I use this as practice to brainstorm and it's also very fun!

Hello! I saw we were short of prompts, and decided to give some suggestions.
WPOTW suggestion: Sit on a chair, and close your eyes, and open them, entering a whole new universe. You look beside your bed, and see a magic lamp, and decide to rub it. Suddenly, after you do that, genie appears and comes to you. “Hello there, lucky person! What are three things you truly wish for, ask me. Ask me, and those wishes will come true!” he exclaimed. Continue the story, what happens, what do you wish for? This is an imaginative, and creative writing prompt to know what you truly want in life. Hope you enjoy doing this writing prompts!
APOTW: One normal night, after a long day at school, you settle in your bed to sleep, not knowing that night which was about to come, was one which was most extraordinary. You sleep, and a man comes In your dreams, and leads you to a whole new planet. ‘Dreamland’ he calls it, saying it's full of all your dreams, wishes, wants, hobbies, everything that goes in your mind and sleep. What do you experience and see there? Draw it out, and be as creative as you want!
Hope this helped, I took quite long writing and framing it hehe-

APOTW: Art challenges can be very fun! They can also help you get out of art block sometimes, and give you some motivation. There are multiple art challenges, try searching some up on Google and start drawing!

APOTW: Look around you, what do you see? Draw something around you, but add something funny to it! If it's a painting, add silly monsters in it! If its an animal of any kind, add 4 ears, 20 legs, or 3 eyes! These are just ideas for you to make your art really, really silly! Have fun trying these things!
another APOTW because why not: Put your head low to the floor, and imagine you are a fly! Zoom around the area, what does it look like when you're that small? Draw the things you see, and how different they look! Add extra details, because you can see even closer than before, and have fun!

WPOTW: Describe an everyday scenario (eg. brushing your teeth, waking up, etc.) in the most dramatic way possible.
APOTW: Pick a song. Listen to that song. What does it remind you of? What do you think of when you listen to it? Draw it out!

WPOTW suggestion: You're at home, it's been a normal day, and it's a normal night, or so you think it is. But is it? As soon as your eyes close, you get a shocking dream, a dream that felt real, so real as if you could actually see it. It scared you, and you loudly woke up, and slept with the light on. Next day, you find out the same thing happens in real life- You're beyond shocked. Explain what was in the dream and how this happened. Enjoy!

WPOTW Suggestion(s):
Write a story that begins with the line, “Can you keep a secret?”
Writers love drawing inspiration from the world around them–especially through the work of other people. This week, flip to a random page in your favorite book and try to reimagine the scenario with different characters, conflict, and setting. The further away you get from the original plot, the better! Then, write a scene based on the idea created based on that page. Have fun, and good luck!
A lot of people have trouble writing impromptu (and that's totally okay)! However, impromptu writing can be helpful, especially on those need-more-ideas days. This week, think about one person, idea, or thing and set a timer for 5 minutes. In that time, write as much as you can about that topic, in any genre you prefer. Doing this activity can help you practice getting your mind moving and serve as the spark of inspiration that just might become the basis for your next story. Ready, get set, write!
Nobody likes writers block. And oftentimes, writers find themselves asking: How can I get over it? There are lots of ways to overcome writer's block, and the answer may be different for different people. However, one of the more common ways is starting with a simple question: What If? What if there was a world where music was forbidden? What if a farmer overhears a conversation between two businessmen claiming that there is a chest filled with gold hidden in his field? What if there was a person who had the power to instantly vaporize everything they touched? What if, what if, what if. This week, come up with your own “What If” question, and write about it!
APOTW Suggestion(s):
July 17th is World Emoji Day! Lots of people love using emojis, either as a way to communicate universally or just as a fun way to express those personal ideas that they can't find the words for. This week, draw what matters to you most using at least three emojis. They can either be made-up or emojis that already exist. Good luck, and have fun celebrating World Emoji Day!
Improvement is one of the biggest things that artists strive for. It's a sign of progress and personal growth. This week, test just how much your art style has improved by taking a piece of art you made a while ago, and redesigning it! It does not have to look exactly the same. After you finish, compare the two compositions and observe at least two things you like about each one. Remember: no shaming or belitting your art!
Everyone interprets art differently. However, teamwork is one of the fundamental aspects of making any kind of art. From mural collaborations to a team art assignment, teaming up with a partner can really help you step out of your comfort zone and broaden your horizon. This week, find a partner and come up with a theme, person, animal, idea, or object. Then, find a blank sheet of paper and split it in half. Each person can only work on half of the drawing, changing their work based on the ideas of their partner. See what you can come up with, and have fun!

WPOTW Suggestion :
Have a character ask someone a crazy would you rather question, but then the question becomes a reality. (Question can be good for the person, or bad.)
Question examples
1. Would you rather die and that creates world peace forever or never die but live in a world of nonstop war
2. Would you rather be taken by aliens or slave traders
3. Would you rather ride a dragon or a Phoenix
