Whats the video block?????????????

Hi alexphan,

The video blocks are for use with the computer's webcam. You can turn the webcam on with the (turn video (on)) block, then if a pop up shows on your screen, click allow. Then, you can use the video motion blocks. These blocks work a lot like the loudness blocks for the microphone, with a value of zero to one hundred. Here is example of a set of scripts with the video blocks:

When Flag Clicked - Whenever you click the green flag
Turn video(on) -Turns on the webcam

When Flag Clicked - Whenever you click the green flag
Set (points) to (0) - Sets the score(a variable) to zero

When Video motion > (value) - Whenever there is this much movement in what the webcam sees
Change (points) by (1) - It gives you a point

You can use this feature to make a balloon pop game, a Kinect-like game. a dance game, or any other game that involves physical movement and the webcam.
