Scratch currently has 26 tutorials right now. That seems like a lot of tutorials, but trust me. It's not enough.I didn’t see a previous post where anyone commented about this. To me, the 26 tutorials are an adequate set of introductory lessons that teach beginners as young as 8-years-old what to press and click within Scratch to make it do anything. That’s actually a big step. Scratch is very intuitive but if you don’t know how to take that first step then the screen is just a bunch of images.
Before we say that there needs to be more quality made tutorials that are short, and interesting, and useful, or who might make them or how the Scratch Team might present them, I think we should talk about what is missing from that initial set of beginner tutorials.
Or, if we are talking about tutorials for people who have made it past that first step then I agree with what other people have said that it doesn’t seem like people have much problem finding what they need or even asking for help.
I do agree that there are some tutorials that are less helpful than others (out of date perhaps) but that’s just a life lesson.

There are always wikis, and those cover a bunch of things. If you want to share a tutorial, do it there! Don't have an account? Request it! Also, this would require at least a voice reveal. I understand this is optional, but it could seriously be spammed. Also, there are a lot of Scratchers that have less than 1250 followers

This topic has been totally bumped!
Maybe there should be a “Submit Tutorial” button/dialog in this “Tutorials” page, where the user can submit their tutorial/s.

youtube currently has a lot of scratch tutorials so I semi-support. like k0d3rrr said users could submit tutorials for the scratch team to review and put up in the tutorials page
or maybe the scratch team can just make more tutorials

didn't realize this was an old topic sorry
In short, no support.

annoying music would playBuddy, the scratch tutorials have music too. Some people like them, some don't. You're also forgetting that there is a magical button called the mute button and captions.
people with 1250+ followers can only make tutorials each 3 days to prevent spam.Could very easily be abused. Many people have over that many. It's just too much for moderators to handle, since there are so few moderators. The community should also not be divided in terms of followers. The point of the website is not followers.
Well, it’s for people who don’t have YouTube. There's a scratch link to youtube videos: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/hIFuoUx01gE/ , though you probably knew that. Just search tutorials on google or scratch and you'll get bunches of tutorials.
