i like animating using scratch but its time consuming to have to get rid of the reference drawing when i try animating, so how about a tool that you just select a color and it gets rid of it. preferably on bitmap.

Like a paint bucket but it effects all objects of that color? Also, this would only really work on bitmap, and I couldn't really see it being implemented into vector or how that would even happen.

As a workaround for you, I'd suggest making a new sprite with the reference and you can draw and look at the project player to draw.

Yes just a button where you select the color and it will delete it from the canvas.

Oof, I've encountered that issue way too may times. This is actually a thing in many drawing apps, and I find it really useful! Implementing it in vector shouldn't make any difference as it could just fill all shapes of the colour with your chosen colour. Maybe it could be a mode for the fill tool?

This is already implemented. Just shift click a color with the paint bucket tool.

Yep that’s the technique I used when I animated on scratch, it’s very helpful.

But I also support this idea! It would be so helpful

Yeah, they should put some kind of tooltip or message in the editor that says you can do that.
