OKAY, if there is anyone still around who wants to put together a project, I just came up with an idea that is different than we've previously discussed. It will be easier to get out there and real fun I think.
So if anyone is interested let me know and I will give you the lowdown.
Perhaps me since I am back.

Well, Perhaps you should decide, yes or no, also if this turns out good I may port it to GameMaker Studio and put it on Iphone and Android and HTML.

Well, I will decide based on the idea.

Ok then, now see if you would of said that in the first reply we wouldn't need all this extra jibber jabber.

Now my Idea is this, You've seen Fruit Ninja and all it's clones? also There is that Project Block Ninja on the front page. I'm thinking of making an rpg style game similar to other puzzle rpg's but based on the Fruit Ninja style of game. So instead of fruit you will be slashing blocks that have swords and shields, power ups and enemies spawning attacks and so forth. I think it would be a good game for anyone who enjoys puzzle rpg's and such.

Hmm… Perhaps it could be a platformer?

Oh Boy. Does Fruit Ninja have anything to do with a platformer? NO it Doesn't, so neither will this game.

In with Flinn?, lol Sure took you long enough to come back, of course that is part of the reason why these serious project ideas aren't going anywhere fast, everybody is out to lunch.

Ok, Well see what ideas you can come up with based on the Fruit Ninja Game with Rpg Elements instead of fruit and we'll go from there.
See if we can get some others involved.

Well, this is embarrassing…

Hey, Halcyon. It's Asjali. Remember me? It's only been a month or so since I made my quiet departure; and yet, you all must have felt like you were waiting an eternity for me to come back. I'm back, but certain things have changed in the time that I have been gone.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to Halcyon as a whole: its members, its mentality, and the collaboration itself. Leaving without notice isn't an act of proper leadership and I never should have jumped ship before letting you all know of my, however temporal, departure. However, I'm doing what I can to salvage the bits and pieces, and that starts with letting you guys know about the whole situation.

Scratch hasn't welcomed a visit from me much at all this August. I must have visited the website so infrequently that I can count the times on me fingers, let alone times that I've logged in to my account. That being said, using Scratch – both the program and the website – was a genuinely fun experience. This sentiment holds true especially back in ‘09 and ’10 when I first discovered and meddled around with Scratch, copying peoples' platforming and gravity engines and putting my own awesome twists on them.

But I'm about to enter an all-encompassing college environment full of activities to do, places to be, and sights to see. You could say I have been busy: trying hard at the very last minute to secure my college admission, saying dear goodbyes to friends disappearing to colleges on another coast, seeking the passions that truly engage and drive me. Even though I don't feel as though I truly was too busy to tend to Halcyon this past month, there's a few words to be said about Scratch sapping the daylight out of my life. Scratch is a social timesink. It's comfortable to hang about for hours in, but it's still a timesink… or at least it was for me. I was eventually going to overdo my presence on Scratch due to too much ambition or planning.

And I did.

Perhaps it would have been a good idea to disclose my notoriety for prematurely quitting things before revving up this giant engine that is Halcyon. The one or two comments shouting grave danger and reconsideration might have set me straight. Of course, we all have a pretty neat-o game idea that we can stuff in our brains for later, as well as some Scratch friends to help arrange the developmental pieces if you pursue the ambition. Halcyon hasn't been a failure by most means, since I structured it to help create new connections and an environment where certain skilled members could casually teach the younger members about technique and prowess, while the younger members provide the gusto and zest that comes with a cleaner mental slate.

I just want to reiterate that I'm still alive and well. Nothing grave or life-changing has happened to me during the break. I'm still the same old Asjali that you've come to know, love (and probably despise), plus a month of uneven tanning and computer-hogging.

I don't suspect I'll be visiting Scratch all too often, because I'm off to college for a fresh start on life. I need to learn and experience what I've been missing out on in life: go from my hunky-dory bedroom sanctuary into the big, bad, bustling world. But I can perform some immediate actions regarding Halcyon (the dreaded disbandment, managerial shifts, etc.) just to make sure that the dream doesn't go unnoticed when there are dreamers ready to seize the day. I'll be around for a little bit, just to make sure that such and such happens.

So, yeah. I'm not spearheading Halcyon anymore. It has been tough to write this but it had to be done, for all of our sakes.

Signing off,
Asjali

Allrighty Then, Have fun at College which I know you will, it's the best time to be in school.

No… no… no… This can't be. Asjali, are you EVER coming back?

You know what? We are going to prove those comments wrong! We will do this! We will make Halcyon great! Come on everybody! Let's make Asjali proud!

This collab is pretty inactive, and both of the programmers haven't checked the forum in quite a while. Also, unless we ALL agree, I don't think you can say that we're now under you…
No, I mean I would add Halcyon as a subdivision of BraxCorps…

well idk but im fine with it so you have my vote

Necro? Halcyon, don't fade away… You've become a part of me as a Scratcher… And now, that part is gone… Please come back… You all have been my mentors. So be them once more… please?

I will be a mentor to someone who is willing to put their nose to the grindstone and get busy on a project that is going to have some depth, and that doesn't mean 3D. I myself want to do a full fledged rpg using “ Book of Heroes” By Venan for Iphone and Android as a guide. I do believe it has the style that would be able to be a decent size rpg and expandable and that Scratch would be able to handle with smooth speed. Most rpg's on Scratch are very small because there is too much animation or trying to do 3D which Scratch really cannot handle with speed nor could it be of any good size.

I am willing to help you on a project if your willing to help me it's that simple.

Im in!
