Hello! Welcome to Running Simulator, a game where you just hold a key and run! This is one of the most basic games I have created but I put effort into this. This was for Day 1 of Scratch Week, which was Let's Get Moving

This is the full tutorial on how to play this game.

Controls
I would like to let you know that this game is not mobile-friendly and is intended for PC users. An update will release soon giving mobile players the ability to buy things from the shop.

To move Scratch Cat, all you have to do is press the right key or click the screen. Scratch Cat will start to run. You have to keep holding or pressing so Scratch Cat can keep running.

Run Points
Run Points are earned by running. When you start the same, there is a 5-second cooldown. This means that you have to hold or press whatever you are using for 5 seconds to get one point. So 10 points will take 50 seconds. You start out with a Run Point Rate of 1, which means that for every 5 seconds of you holding a key, you earn one point

You are able to increase the Run Point Rate in the shop. You can also decrease the cooldown in the shop as well

Shop
In the top right corner, there is a button and when you click the button, you will open the shop. The shop is simple and it only has 7 things. But don't underestimate these things! These can really help you save some time.

To buy something from the shop, you click the drink that you want to buy and it will let you know that you bought something. You can use the left and right arrows to go to different things in the shop

When you are done buying things from the shop, click the shop button again to exit the shop and keep running!

There are more things coming soon! I will add more planets to run on, more drinks, more details like clouds, and more! This is just the beginning of Running Simulator!

Guys, Running Simulator just reached 1k views. This is my most viewed project ever! Thank you all for the support! I cannot believe that I have created something that people actually like!
