No, that title belongs to this one: Ah, the most useless block on Scratch.(days since 2000)
<color [#8527c8] is touching [#c9b2c7] ?>and also, it isn't useless.

Actually that title might be shared withNo, that title belongs to this one: Ah, the most useless block on Scratch.(days since 2000)<color [#8527c8] is touching [#c9b2c7] ?>and also, it isn't useless.
when [ loudness v] > (10) //Not timer because that is somewhat usefulbtw the color touching color block isn't great because new scratchers trying to make platformers with spikes use that block and then get upset when it doesn't work.
Oof pico let the octopus out again
But yeah, this block is actually useful, and the suggested replacements have simple workarounds. No support.

Haha, we should have a discussion thread about what we think is the least used block on Scratch.Actually that title might be shared withNo, that title belongs to this one: Ah, the most useless block on Scratch.(days since 2000)<color [#8527c8] is touching [#c9b2c7] ?>and also, it isn't useless.when [ loudness v] > (10) //Not timer because that is somewhat useful

Duplicate for first block (?)why tho I don't think @fdreerf would be happy to discover this thread.
read their about me section.
I will defend the days since 2000 block for as long as I live.

no support, it's simple enough not to confuse new scratchers but complicated enough to only get used by experienced scratchers
also this wouldn't confuse new scratchers but it would still make it unnecessarily complicated

Your suggestion will get more attention in a separate topic. Unfortunately, though, Should scratch add a dark modeit already was.

Since the blocks to replace days since 2000 are duplicates, I'm only giving my opinion on the last three.
1. I can't think of a time when you'd need the date a project was created… it's not even displayed anywhere, so why would you need it now?
2. Support for date project was shared. A few questions though: would this be the date it was first shared or the date it was last shared? (I'm guessing it would be the date last shared, since you could use a list to keep track of share/reshare dates.) What would it report if you haven't shared it yet? (probably nothing, since it wouldn't apply until you've shared it.) And how about unshares? I think there should be a way to use this to get any unshare dates as well. I think the block should look like this:
I don't know, I just like this one
3. The last one could be abused, like for example only letting users with accounts created during Scratch 2.0 see the project. But just because something can be abused doesn't mean it shouldn't exist… I'm staying neutral on this for now.

(last [share v] date :: sensing)The thing with not reporting anything if it hasn't been shared could also apply to the “unshare” option.

I don't think @fdreerf would be happy to discover this thread.
As for the last three blocks, what are some examples of projects you think you would make with those blocks?
1st two: Say something like, “This is an old project. Feel free to check it out, but my new projects are better” if x number of days has passed. It could also be used for automatic and random vaulting systems like in Fortnite. If you do not play Fortnite and do not know how this works, guns are sometimes “vaulted”. This means you cannot find them until they are out of the vault.
As for the third one, I have actually changed my mind. It could be used to do things like “You cannot use this project as you haven't been on Scratch for x years, blah blah blah….”

Ignore the fact that I said no support 3 separate times on this topic.
Everything about the days since 2000 block has already been said. Everyone is too busy arguing about whether or not this block is useless (it's not) but we are ignoring the fact that the new blocks add next to nothing. What would this new versions be used for that the old one can't? What would the other new blocks be used for?

Although these blocks aren't really the most useful, they serve more use than the normal
(days since 2000)block.

I think it should be something like this:
(days since ) then it would change to the suggested date.
