If copyright of the samsung logo was a problem, you could maybe change the color from blue to green or smth to make it different
It's not really a problem, but it is weird they look so similar.
Samsung would decide if that is a problem or not because they would be the one filing a lawsuit. However, the chance of a lawsuit being filed is basically impossible. I somehow doubt Samsung as lawyers patrolling the AT'S
I do hope that everyone in the Ninetails community doesn't want to sue me still on the topic of law!
There is a very very small chance. Samsung would still have to pay some legal fees right? And what's the point - they will get backlash for doing this to an open source project, especially when the people working on it don't have any money or something to get out of it.

Before you create a topic:
Always search for duplicates or other similar topics before making an umbrella topic, e.g., “The Mac Topic”.
  • Is it about something you are planning on making but haven't made yet? If so, please wait to post until you have created a working prototype. This is a key factor to keeping the ATs as clean as possible.
  • The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!
  • Is it related to something you are making in Scratch? (This includes OSes and other Scratch projects) If so, please post in Collaboration, Show and Tell, or another similar forum.
  • Is your topic questionably “advanced”? Try browsing the other forums to see if your topic fits better in one of those.
  • Issues with Scratch itself should be put in Bugs and Glitches.

I think they meant a built in window frame, and by that I believe they're talking about the bar that has the window controls (minimize, maximize, close).

Ah, I see. I doubt I could make a better one than there already is though.

i think it'd look a lot better if it was in the same row as tabs, you'd get a lot more space for content as well as a more polished feeling

I never thought about that… I guess it's because I use Windows and it already looks connected:

It looks disgusting if you set the titlebar color to your accent color though.
also look at the amount of empty space there.

How do you, in all seriousness, with the power of Electron, remove the Window title bar.

what? are you saying that it's hard to do or it shouldn't be done? it's really not hard and absolutely it should be done if you want your app to feel polished, the system's native titlebar really doesn't feel that clean and this is an elegant solution which really looks amazing.

For real, how? A big question, I haven't seen any other Electron app or browser do it.

The HTML/CSS/JS is rendered via Electron but cannot access Electron windowing APIs, therefor I don't see, how a Javascript function from within the rendered document. Can access Electron BrowserWindow APIs, for example close or minimize. Windows handles windows with titlebars and Electron normally, unlike now?

VS Code, Spotify and Discord are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

For real, how?
you can define a preload script in electron which has access to all node apis, so you can expose a sandboxed version of electron ipc and send messages over it to receive data from the main process and visa versa

That looks really good! One thing I don't like is that the top icons are shifted left, so it kind of ruins the continuity of the icon bar. But other than that, great job!

Hm, that's a whole bunch of changes. Also, please don't use a code formatter, since I like the current style and formatting it results in hug diffs.
