Notification feature?

Adding a notification feature ( like yt ).

You can turn notifications off or on.

So when your favourite scratcher posts, a message will pop up in your mail saying some thing like

We have this already, it is called following.
Following a user let's you get “notifications” from them on the front page in the “What's Been Happening” section.
