Allow Symbols In Cloud Variables
Symbols, such as `~!@#$%^, and other non-alphabetic characters, should be allowed in cloud variables.not funny.
Now before anyone says this is rejected, you should probably know that allowing LETTERS in cloud variables was rejected, not SYMBOLS.1.12 Letters in cloud variables
Some users would like an easy way to set cloud variables to values which include letters. Such a feature was present in the beta version of Scratch 2.0. However, allowing letters in cloud variables would cause a lot of moderation issues. For instance, it would make it too easy to make inappropriate cloud chat projects; for more information, see #3.1 on this list. Hence the feature was removed, and so cloud variables can now only be set to numeric values.
Nobody is going to be creating a chat based soley on typing backticks, so I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be implemented.

Umm… what part is supposed to be funny? I am confused because this isn't supposed to sound funny.

Support, it could be useful in some cases, numbers only makes decoding some stuff a lot harder…
