The pixels are very obnoxious, noticeable and unappreciated. This seems like a very simple and great fix, good idea! Because anybody who likes those pesky pixels does pixel art with the pen. (Not a bad thing to do but insanely difficult)

The pixels are because of the fact that there is no antialiasing in pen.
So you're suggesting antialiasing in pen

I don't like how pixelated the style is. This would be great if you want pen to be less pixelated

and maybe it should render at a higher resolution like 960x720 or something, that would fix the problem

There really needs to be a higher quality pen and it should be easy to compress it so that vector and bitmap are supported.
