The easiest way to get follows is through f4f, but avoid spamming requests and be cordial when someone declines a request. People don't tend to like f4f for some reason, so if you don't want to do that you can simply interact and make friends (how I got my followers lol) or make really good projects

You should've quoted the user instead, now it just seems like OP is trolling, if I haven't heard of the trolling I would've gotten very confused.

The answer is probably follow for follow, but I wouldn't recommend it as the practise is hated by tons of people and could lead to hate comments.

the easiest way for followers is either these 3:

• namesnipe account such as @tifa or @cloud (ironically my name is a namesnipe)
  

• follow for follow or f4f. frowned upon by older scratchers, many users use f4f to get more followers such as talking on griffpatch's profile or going to the f4f studio
  

• make a plain platformer, pretty simple since those rack up stars and loves

-Be nice
-Do F4F (follow-for-follow) or FOR (follow on request)

Make good projects, be more active in scratch, try your best, make people know about your projects, make friends. Try not doing advertisements or f4f, popular scratchers got popular not making ads or f4f.

Well, I got my follows from doing f4f. But it is not the best way. What I saw that I always be kind, give credits, help everyone. This attitude will attract people. Try your best to make projects and be kind and active! That's all what I had! Good luck!

It depends on the kind of follower you want. In my opinion, F4F isn't in the spirit of Scratch or the purpose of follows, as followers in such are less likely to give helpful feedback, enjoy your projects etc, whereas a proper follower (which is, in my opinion, someone who follows you because they like your projects or you've helped them) is more likely to engage.

I find that a good way of making yourself noticed is remixing a project with your own creative ideas. I personally do this a lot. (just remember not to make exact copies!)

Another thing to remember: Scratch isn't about fame or followers. Scratch is about creativity.
