Sound File Size

I have one sprite with multiple costumes. I put several recorded sound files into the backpack from a separate project. I am trying to move each sound file from my backpack to a costume by dragging the sound file over the costume. Sometimes this is not working for me. I was wondering if there is a limit to the size of sound files attached to one sprite with multiple costumes. Thank you.

The sound is too big. A sound should be under 300 seconds.

That's not true. The limit is 10 MB for each sound file.
This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
