So- I know this isn't really script related, but I need to record sounds for my game and whenever I try it says, “You must give permission for Scratch to use the microphone.” but I don't know where to give permission. (I'm on Windows 10) so if anyone could help that would be great.

You said you are using windows 10 so are you using Chrome or Microsoft Edge?

If you are using Chrome then click the lock icon on the top left corner of the screen next to the URL and turn on the switch next to microphone then reload and it should work.

If you are using Edge then I dont know how to help you sorry.
