So, I want to access one of my old Scratch account I made in 2017, which is named Klasky2000Returned. It's named like that because… I was Klasky2000 and then I left in 2016, and I meant to return… somewhat. This was made after they decided to make email address confirmation required. I have put a fake email in it, and I kept using my Scratch account for private purposes (making/editing animations, making/editing games I “made”)… almost (well, I DID publish one of my work which was there, which went lost ). The fake email meant I can't confirm it. However, I forgot the password, and I can't access it anymore. I also want to take a look at the old stuff I made. If I could access it, then that means one of my work I released in the public would no longer be lost + a new version I was making for it, which went unreleased.

Any other way to access my old Scratch account?

The best way to do this would be to reach out through Contact Us. Even if it's fake, hopefully you still remember the email address associated with the account, in addition to some other information about the account. I'm not sure what the folks over at Contact Us could do, but it's worth a shot.

I believe since user data is stored on the servers the ST might be able to find the email for you. And since Scratch asks for your email when creating an account, I'd think it's counted as user data. Not sure though.

The reason why it may be helpful to remember the email is to confirm that you are actually the account owner. Otherwise some random user could just send a Contact Us message saying

Hey I'm @-Kryptonite- and I don't remember my password but I want to change the email on my account can you do that for me?

If we respond with “Okay, what is the current email address associated with the account,” and this random user doesn't know (assuming you kept your email safe), then we'll probably suspect that this random user is not actually you. Your account stays safe for another day!

You should use Contact Us using your real email and then hopefully they will be able to transfer it. If this fails, I guess that's one more reason to use the offline editor

I wasn't always Techno_Troll9 I actually had an old account called Techno_Troll7 and well that acc. didn't go so well and I stopped scratch for months and then I forgot about scratch until I decided to try and login to my old acc. but it had been so long i forgot the pass so i am this acc. but here is a trick

and sadly, you can't get into accs. that you forgo the pass to so just search up ur old acc's. name and u should find your projects and acc.

There isn't much evidence to confirm you own the account without an email.
