How Do You Remix Your Own Project?
This works:
Make sure you are signed OUT of your account. Go to your project in editing mode, click remix. It will ask you to sign in. Sign in and it will remix your own project!

How Do You Remix Your Own Project?
That is what I do!On Scratch you can remix projects, you can add any ideas to make it better or you can just modify it if you want to change it. In a remix you have to change at least 5 things in the original game. the remix is not to be used in advanced. For more information ask @Cole-_- or @scratchteam
This information is not correct - it's not the number of changes you make that makes it a valid remix - it's just important that you use your own ideas. Remix awayCheddarGirl: Can you or another ST member tell us how a project author can create a true remix of their project that shows up in the remix tree under their normal user name? Is there a way for you to broadcast the question to the whole ST team?

How Do You Remix Your Own Project?
very good to know
Hey there! It looks like Paddle2See, Cheddargirl, and some other helpful Scratchers gave a good solution!

Here's a technique that I believe does what you are asking. Sign out of Scratch. Now, navigate to your own project that you want to remix and click on the See Inside button. Then, click on Remix and sign in as yourself. This will create a remix of your own project.
Since this method is so non-intuitive, I can only assume that it is not a feature that was actually designed in. It does seem to me that there might be a place for the self-remix as many people do build on their own creations - and it might be nice to reflect this in remix record. Possibly it is not included as a formal feature for fear of people using the technique to game the What the Community is Remixing row on the front page.
Please don't necropost.

I'll have this topic closed now.

Since this topic hasn't seen a new post from the topic owner in a long time, I'm going to assume that it is dead and close the topic. If it still is alive, the topic owner just needs to use the Report button to ask a mod to reopen it
