Hi All. I have now watched a number of tutorials, followed all the instructions and done the same set up, yet I am having a problem I've not seen in one tutorial yet.

Firstly, I would say about 50% of the time the ball touches the paddle, it gets “stuck” and bounces around quite a bit on the paddle itself. It often touches the scoring zone as well, which causes the score to rapidly increase even when its not “hit” the wall, but just bounces into it while stuck in the paddle.

The second issue I have seen is sometimes, for whatever reason, the ball will hit one side, but the score will increase on both sides.

I thought I followed everything to the letter so I am a bit frustrated and confused. Any help would be appreciated!

You should close the post then

For the ball stuck on paddle, make there be a gap between the scoring line and paddle a few more pixels bigger than the ball. This also makes the score work, too.
