Can I almost copy a video?

Hey guys how are ya on this fine saturday! I have a simple, yes or no, question for y'all.

I'm making a animation copying off of a YT video. I'm using the audio from the video, the plot of the video, and 10/12 of the things included in the video

The video is the 12 days of christmas my teacher gave me to do and some of the days are inappropriate. I am changing those. Is this reportable? Am I allowed to almost copy a video?

If you want a simple Yes or No answer then I would have to restate your question.

Would the Scratch Team object to someone taking almost all of a video but then also adding some of their own creative content?

From what I’ve seen the Scratch Team would not object to this.

Nope! I have seen people do this plenty of times and well I am pretty sure it should not cause a problem.

As long as the video is Scratch appropriate, you can do that!
You can use the audio and reanimate the video (if that's what you're trying to do)

just give credit at least i have seen alot of people do that and even i do that to rarely only its not shared

Knowing that video its probably not at all a good idea to use that, as almost every single of the days is inappropriate for scratch in some way
