They would lose their iconic lookBut they should, or at least replace the forum emojis with their Unicode counterparts.Just use Unicode like thisScratch doesn't support most of the Unicode emojis.
The gradients in the Unicode emojis use a linear gradient but the forums ones use a radial gradient positioned near the left and unicode uses brighter shades of yellow but forums use a bit darker shades.

You can simply typeYes, but it would still be nice to have newer, more modern emojis for people who do not know about this, and for the people who simply like using the actual emojis instead of just the text.if you don’t want the emoji to show up (if you don’t mean:[b][/b]P, but you mean :P).

No support. I like the look of the classic emojis, and they work pretty well, while the modern emojis that people have suggested look too generic. I like the classic so much, sometimes I wish I could use it on other platforms.

Support! I've ordered from image hosting shops before on the request forum and everytime they give the link it would have ayeah, after the “https” it comes a “:/” wich is a “on it and it's so annoying.

Yeah, emojis are kinda weird on the Forums. When I want to type : P, (there is a space in between the letters, btw), it always comes out as . But when I type xD, it doesn't come out as , because you need to type : lol :
