This is the forum for the Thriller IC Weekly with me, @Warriorsisawesome, and @Charliesunset ^^

Empress Astor flipped through the reports. The battle has been going extremely well in the European African countries. She glanced at her secretaries, her advisors, and her lady-in-waiting.

She heard a crashing noise in the distance, then a familiar shout echoing through the embellished halls- and suddenly a girl burst into the room. Auburn curls flew about her face like butterflies on strings. “Your Honor,” she gasped, “I have news. Important news. And I need you to trust me on this.” The room was enveloped by silence, the type of silence only interrupted by the air rushing through the vents.

Her eyes fell upon the girl ominously. “I beg your pardon?”

“Your Honor.” The girl flinched. “My name is Genesis Whitney, and I have… a long list of things to explain to you.”
“How old are you, Geneva?” asked one of Empress Astor's secretaries, perfectly poised on a chair.
“Fourteen. That doesn't matter.” Also, ma'am, my name is not Geneva.

“Go ahead,” the empress said suspiciously. One of her assistants who knew her well stared at her. As long as he remembered, the empress loved turning people down and saying no. Well, people change…

“You need to change your tactics,” Genesis cried out, on the verge of shouting. “There is definitely a rebellion coming. I know that you have sensed the dawn of peace, Your Honor, but it will soon be blocked out by a disaster like no other.” She pulled a packet of information out of the old ragged briefcase she had found in a closet. “I need you to read this. Stat, Your Honor.”
“You don't call an empress Your Honor,” the assistant growled.
Genesis's face was pleading, her eyes filled with tears, but she ignored him and continued to stare at Empress Astor.

Empress Astor paused; why hasn't this been reported? She had sent officials all over the empire… why hasn't they discovered this? The assistant watched her nervously.
She took the packet of information. “Where is this happening?”

“Just outside of the empire, Your Honor. In the once-glorious city your officials successfully demolished. We need to stop this and them now before it's too late.” Genesis's voice wavered slightly.

“Is it happening now?” she demanded.
Her assistant perked up. "Should I call the Dowódca?“ he asked.
”Absolutely,“ Empress Astor and one of the secretaries said in unison.
She turned back to Genesis. ”Lead my officers, peasant. And if it's a trap…“ her voice turned dangerous. ”Consequences will occur.“
Just then, the cops arrived. ”Is there anything we can do for you, Your Highness?“
”Follow this girl,“ the empress indicated. ”She claims there is a rebellion.“ She glanced at Genesis. ”Run along, now."

Genesis glared back at her. Her impulse had successfully taken the wheel and rational thoughts were simply a small voice. But her impulse was fueled by passion, so it wasn't a reckless, destructive type of impulse. It was simply Genesis being herself.
The cops trailed behind her. They were slow, lousy officers, and she couldn't believe Empress Astor had ended up with them. In this situation. Right now, on this very day.
“Move it along!”
One of the cops started sprinting, but not towards Genesis. The officer had bright red hair and glowing eyes like those of a cat. Genesis trusted her very little. She stared at the woman.
“Excuse me, Your Honor?” Her voice was no longer wavering. “What in the world are you doing?”

“Please, dear, learn how to talk with respect,” the officer hissed before continuing in the direction she was going in. When Empress Astor hears of this, she better teach these citizens how to talk…

Genesis's passion was aflame. “I don't have time for that now, Your Honor. I need you to come with me.” The next words flew out of her mouth before she could even process them. “Are you trying to sabotage us?”
The rest of the officers stopped, their mouths agape.

“Excuse me?” the officer kept her skepticalism to herself. “May I remind you, every one of us were chosen specifically by the secretaries, the assistants, and even the empress herself.” She paused. “And if you want me to obey you, you'll have to ask politely.”

“Okay!” Genesis was on the verge of shouting. “I would appreciate it if you would please obey me. It's for the mission. For the greater good. For your life.” Icy tears sprinkled across her face, but it took her a moment to realize that they weren't really tears…
Instead, they were drops of water. Cold water. Nearly freezing. Genesis ran, and so did the officers. The officer she had not trusted simply stood there, facing the icy water. Everyone stared back at her while running- some tripped, and screamed, and watched from below as the world went to chaos. Again.

Only about seven(?) out of fifteen(?) sincere officers followed cautiously; these were responsible officers with concern for their country and loyalty for their empress and empire. They looked at Genesis inquiringly.
“It's happening now?” one of them asked, his voice loud to be heard as he ran.

“Yes, sir.” Genesis’s voice fluttered like a tiny butterfly, irrelevant to the grand scheme of the world. But she refused to be drowned in the chaos. “Run towards the clearing. It’s an awful rainstorm… one that they’ve come prepared for. This is their advantage!”

((The weekly ended long ago tho xD))
The officers glanced at each other. A rainstorm. Pretty much what the whole kingdom hates the most. But still, it's a rebellion, and they need to stop it. About half of them rushed towards the clearing, while a few others followed more cautiously. The others… were… well, they can be described as unloyal soldiers.
The rainstorm was growing; rain splattered down. The officers winced. Then the group of people came into sight.
