Backpack not appearing

When I click “See Inside” on a project, I cannot see the backpack or all of the blocks even when using the “Small stage layout”. What should I do?

What OS is it? Zorin? That OS has its utility bar raised too much. (I think)

What is your screen resolution? Could you post a screenshot?

My screen resolution is 1024x600.

Okay, that explains it.

In order to see the backpack, about 600 pixels from the top of the Scratch editor webpage to the bottom are needed.

From the Scratch Help FAQ

What are the system requirements for Scratch?

To run Scratch 2, you need a relatively recent web browser (Chrome 7 or later, Firefox 4 or later, or Internet Explorer 7 or later) with Adobe Flash Player version 10.2 or later installed. Scratch 2 is designed to support screen sizes 1024 x 768 or larger. If your computer doesn’t meet these requirements, you can try downloading and installing Scratch 1.4, which you can still use to share projects to the Scratch 2 website.

You might be able to make it show if you could hide anything above the editor and hide anything below the editor, such as browser bars, OS taskbars, or other window elements.

I am using Google Chrome without the downloads bar or bookmarks bar showing, and although using fullscreen works, I don't prefer it. Thank you anyway!

what is with this problem? is it just the certain version of google chrome? it works on my computer, but because it's so slow, i use others for scratch. my solution is to just download your browser again (it works at school :\)

I have the same problem. The backpack doesn't show up. I just bought a brand new 24" LG monitor which I set to resolution 1920x1080. There is a task bar at the bottom. Anyway no backpack shows up. There is nothing to click on to get the backpack.

There is nothing to click on to get the backpack. Oh, I just read that the backpack feature is noit yet available for the offline editor. That explains it.

This problem is also occuring to me. My taskbar at the bottom is blocking it, so I can't see it or click it.
