Why the forums clock is 1 hour late?
The forums use 24 hours time and a different timezone
This is my signature (it goes automatically under every post I make)! Here is a bit of advice on foruming, by the way. Don't do SAND. SAND means four words.
SAND means Spam, Advertising, Necroposting, and Derailing.
Spam is when a irrelevant message is sent to many places. Wiki Article: Spam
Advertising is when you promote your studios and projects. Wiki Article: Advertising
Necroposting is when you post on a old topic. It distracts other helpers! Wiki Article: Necroposting
Derailing is when you post something that is irrelevant to the topic, like minimodding. It is called thread hijacking. Wiki Article: Derailing(Derailing idea comes from this guy),
in the process of leaving scratch.
bob has been hidden again :(

That should be a browser extension doing it. Yeah, sometimes it glitches into your timezone.

Why the forums clock is 1 hour late?
It’s simply the forums getting a timestamp based off some number (an epoch?), but it’s doesn’t always match timezones- it’s 3 hours off for me.

Why the forums clock is 1 hour late?
It's always 3 hours ahead of my timezone, Pacific Time. That makes sense as the Scratch servers are in Eastern Time. So this post would appear created Oct. 31, 2021 21:06:–.

Why the forums clock is 1 hour late?
for those who are curious, theres a way to figure out the timezone that its using for you. it's a bit wacky. essentially heres what you do:
1. take your scratchsessionsid
2. split it on the colons, take the first part
3. base64 decode using python's base64.urlsafe_b64decode
4. inflate the decoded buffer using zlib
5. parse the json
6. it is available under django_timezone. mine is “America/New_York” this is incorrect because i am in Switzerland, but i can see that this is the timezone on the forums

A browser timezone can do it or else, scratch is glitchy.
