It does, but honestly, you can't argue with this but the world's most private browser, Tor, is based on Firefox

Same. Sure, Google may be stealing my information and making money off me, but they're providing free services which are very useful, such as Google Docs (to name one of the many). And I'm pretty sure all the information they collect is used to make things like Google Assistant and my search results smarter, which is a good thing in my eyes. I'm not all that bothered by it.
