It does, but honestly, you can't argue with this but the world's most private browser, Tor, is based on FirefoxLove Firefox.I didn't like them at first, but honeslty, they are quite cool.
The floating tabs are superious.
(that says superior and you know it)
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Firefox 93.0, No Flash version detected
KOTP!I'd argue the “private browsing” mode on Chrome isn't private. It most likely sends data to google.

Plus, you can sign it for self distribution, and then can permanently load it.Well not really, assuming you are just debugging the extension and will upload it to the addon store later. Why does Firefox only let you temporarily sideload extensions?okay true that's annoying

That's the thing with Google, they make EXTREMELY useful free tools, and profit from them in mysterious ways. Like Google Photos when my phone went through the washing machine.i also don't really care about chrome's tracking anymore. i also don't have anything to hide. i'd rather people stopped jumping on anyone who doesn't use firefox on linux than stop using my current setup.Same. Sure, Google may be stealing my information and making money off me, but they're providing free services which are very useful, such as Google Docs (to name one of the many). And I'm pretty sure all the information they collect is used to make things like Google Assistant and my search results smarter, which is a good thing in my eyes. I'm not all that bothered by it.

Me too. Chrome discussions probably don't fit in a Firefox space so that is why we have different topics-snip-That's nice, I'd like them to stay thanks

Question: is Firefox better than edge?
I’m required to use chrome for school but I use Safari and edge outside of school.

Firefox is a great browser. When I used Google Chrome, websites used to load in 3+ seconds. On Firefox, they load almost instantly.

You can get it through Google Play, or get the full desktop version through Linux, assuming this is your personal Chromebook and not a school one that will block both of those options :PI think you can get firefox for chrome OS.Chromebooks.I’m required to use chrome for schoolWhy?Chrome is dreadful for privacy!

I remember, that one day, I stopped using Firefox, and started using Chrome. Boy, if only I knew…
