I see people put images in posts all the time. When I click on the button that lets you insert images, it tells me to put in a URL. What websites can I use and how does it work?

A URL is the image link, aka a long string of numbers and letters that tell an image searcher what the image is.

I see people put their own images in the fourm posts.

I know. Just right click the image you want to send, and copy the image address/URL.

You can try it with your own pfp as an example.

You have to post an image link between “img” tags, like this:
If you wanna use any images in the forums, I recommend that you use CubeUpload. CubeUpload allows you to upload the images you wanna use on the website, and it will make a link online for those images, which you can post here. If you want to see the complete list of image hosting websites that Scratch allows, you can see that list here.

The website I use for forum posts is called cubeupload. It turns images into links that you can attach by pressing control + p. Edit: didn't realize somebody already suggested cubeupload before I sent this.

i use unshared projects i have made, right click the picture and copy and paste the link used for them since my school blocks image host websites. i'd recommend cubeupload or imageshack for URLs. you just need to put a image into a box and it'll give you a URL. you have to put the URL with {img}. this as an example of a unshared project img: https://cdn2.scratch.mit.edu/get_image/project/567485279_100x80.png

use imageshack or cubeupload

go to cubeupload.com and create an account. then, go to the home page and click “select an image”. click on the image you want. then click "start upload. once the upload is done there will be a link under the image you uploaded. select all of the link, right click, and then click copy. then go to the forums and click new topic in any topic. once you've done that, click on the button with an image on it and then it will ask you for a url. press the button labelled ctrl or cmd on your keyboard, and while your holding that button, press v. then press enter. click submit on the post and then you will see an image here is an image i uploaded to cubeupload.com
