Friday Night Funkin: what's appropriate and what is not appropriate
i cant believe this, but im gonna have to say this myself: FNF has taken over basically most of scratch, and theres a lot of fnf accounts, projects, studios, etc. And when i looked up what fnf is, it showed me a bunch of stuff that wasnt appropriate for kids, And then i got attacked by people who said “FNF is a game for Young audiences” which is clearly not true, this is not opinion, this is the truth. FNF has taken over a lot of scratch and im saying this because i need ST's opinion on if FNF should be allowed on scratch since its clearly For mature audiences. Besides, the game was also made on a website with unmoderated chat.
thanks to this person for the correction
a few examples:
-the game over screen
-the menu background
-week 4
-week 6 roses dialogue
-Tankman's Stress dialogue
- Fanart that isnt appropriate

Friday Night Funkin: what's appropriate and what is not appropriate
In my opinion, I do not like FNF nor do I think it's appropriate for Scratch. But then again, Scratch probably won't ban it because
3.3 Ban certain franchises Generally the Scratch Team does not censor projects based off of a certain franchise unless a large number of inappropriate projects were made with the franchise. An example is Five Nights at Freddy's; see this announcement for more information. In general, it is usually possible to make appropriate projects based on a certain franchise. Of course, you should always report inappropriate projects of any kind.

While some parts of FNF are mature, such as certain lines of dialogue or the Week 5 enemy sprite, the core fundamentals (Dance Dance Revolution but with personality), as well as the fan-art and other fan-made content made on this site, are perfectly fine.
If you see anything inappropriate, report it.

its allowed since scratch doesn't ban certain franchises and depending on the case on how they use FNF, it should be ok. if its used for anything inappropriate, then yes it should be banned. yes it may not be a kids' game, but scratch allows almost all franchises, just as long if they are used appropriately.

Friday Night Funkin: what's appropriate and what is not appropriate
People are allowed to share content from other games so long as what they share doesn't contain inappropriate content. They can snip it out or just skip it altogether.
So with the example of FNF, users are allowed to share remakes or fan content of the game so long as it doesn't contain that inappropriate content. Like replace whatever the “week 4 songs” are with clean stuff and whatnot.
A quick review:
Is a project based on FNF reportable? Depends.
How about one that has ALL the inappropriate content edited out? No, but you can always report just in case.
How about one that doesn't? Report.

I don't think the point of this topic is to list everything inappropriate in the game. It's already been said that the appropriate parts are allowed, so it isn't going to get anywhere.i think you forgot Roses dialogue, its not explicit but it isnt appropriateCreepy and explicit body parts.Well the death screen definitely is not allowedI sense no danger here.

I’d say no ban, since reject, but maybe NSFW if it’s that inappropriate.
