What is AspectOS
AspectOS is an operating system originally created by AIGamesDeveloper but modified by a team of excellent contributors! We are trying our best to create the most modern and possibly the most advanced OS on Scratch. We won't guarantee this and it might take a while but we will try our best!

History of AspectOS
Let's go back to May 2021. I, AIGamesDeveloper, saw that OSes were trending and I thought “what if I made an OS like this but cooler” and the idea came to me. I created an OS called AIGamesOS and thought that it was too self-promoting so I renamed it to AspectOS. It died during the summer of 2021 but I brought it back alive. I named it AspectOS because there are many operating system collaborations out there that want to be like no other OS on Scratch which is our goal. But we are trying to make an original OS by suggesting different “aspects” for our OS which is why we named it AspectOS

Launch of AspectOS
Well now that we have an official date, v2.0 will release on September 15, 2022. That's this thread's birthday! OMG! We will have two BETAs as well.

Will AspectOS have multiple languages?
This question is important for AspectOS since we want everybody to experience it. v1.0 will only have one language, English. But v1.1 will have at least 5 languages. English, Spanish, Romanian, Italian, and Hawaiian. This will be possible using the STE++ made by @-Rex-

AspectOS Contributors
AspectOS's goal is to make sure we create a friendly community and a terrific OS. But we can't do this with a single person. Instead, we have composed an entire team of contributors to help with the AspectOS project and to make it better than ever!

Alright, Accepted! JACC 1.5. will be an application. We just need to code how to launch an application (I'm sure it shouldn't take long)

all of these have operating systems. So it's like Windows on scratch but with originality

Alright got it! I also have a list of what we coders need to do. Not all have to be finished but I would like most to be finished. Otherwise we can add the remaining to future updates.

Accepted. Because you are a designer, can you make a login wallpaper and then a home screen wallpaper for when you log in. I also need multiple wallpapers so people can choose which one. Also, try to think of more ideas that we should add since you are an Aspect. Just not too crazy
