Do I use USB or bluetooth to code for micro:bit (chromeOS, android app)

Do I have to connect my micro:bit to my chromebook (on the android app) with bluetooth or USB cable?
I know you need to use usb to put the scratch hex file onto it but when coding for the micro:bit, can I unplug the usb and use bluetooth?

I just found out the correct answer. You use USB to install scratch but use bluetooth to code.
