probably prize givers, which are users who sign up to do this, in which the winner will be followed by the prize givers. Def not alts, that’s against the CG

If you want to give someone 100 follows, you will need 100 prize givers (different accounts)

Using follows as a prize is actually not allowed:

Hey Paddle, are you allowed to give prizes such as loves, faves, and follows in competitions?

The short answer is “no” - however, we haven't spread the word very well and it is a very widespread practice. So we haven't been enforcing it very strictly - yet.

See the policy here https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/340012/ , item 5.
Be careful if you are planning to tell the people running a contest that using follows for prizes aren't allowed; it could come off as rude and they might get mad at you if the Scratch Team tells them they can't. It's usually better to just report and move on so the Scratch Team can take care of everything. Since it isn't strictly enforced, you could also probably just ignore the contests.
