I know you can just put in a link to find a friend but what about discovering other accounts? You won’t know the username that account has meaning you can’t find them with a link. I like to find people who roleplay as characters from games and stuff but it’s very hard to find them! Maybe adding a search tab that can find accounts that include your search. For example, if I wanted to find a Mario roleplay account, I can just put “Mario” in the account search bar and it can search for accounts that have that word/words included in it. I think this would be very helpful for a lot of people(that’s what I think at least)

You can use @example to go to a profile. You just put @ in front of the username.

You can go to the explore tab and find people based off of projects. You can also look through the front page. You can also search for different kinds of projects and find people that way as well. But you're right, there is no function on Scratch, that I know of, that is dedicated to finding new users. If you want to see something implemented, then you can think of what exactly you want and look to see if someone has made a topic on the suggestions forum before and re-open that discussion, or you could make your own topic if what you want to implement exactly hasn't been suggested.
