Both very good points. And I assume by the title that this is suggesting making ALL of the scratchblocks 3.0, not just the Make a Block blocks, as implied in the OP.

Support. I think this is being worked on, and will probabbly be changed when all of the forums become 3.0, as the studios just did.

Support. I do like the 2.0 design, but since Scratch 3.0 is on the works right now, I guess it would be cool for a blocks change on the Forums.

Support, if a certain browser extension can do it why can't the Scratch Team? Although I expect this to come with whenever they update the forums which is pretty much never.

Support, it fits the theme of Scratch, and with 3.0 blocks being modern looking it can make posts look a lot more clear.
However, I do have a feeling when the forums EVENTUALLY update to 3.0, the blocks would change too.

The block plugin simply takes text in scratchblocks tags and renders them as block images. ::looks
It has literally nothing to do with memory; an empty project probably takes up more memory... ::motion

It wouldn't. Rendering blocks with a different visual design doesn't affect RAM usage or lag.
