same suggestion as was stated by @codingfairy07 above, it seems. i think a lot of forumers were a little harsh with this guy suggesting things like this. obviously making scratch products to sell is not out of the question, since we already have a scratch store. i'm not 100% convinced that “scratch doesn't have the funds to do this” is sufficient reasoning to shut down the suggestion.

i'm not sure. i can think of a couple problems, though: you can just use the “join” block, and also there could be problems if someone wants to use curly braces in a “say” block.

@Za-Chary, when you say “[something] is rejected, but [this other similar suggestion] is not, and you can discuss it ”, since you’re a Scratch Team member, are you saying you recognize the other idea, but it’s neither rejected nor going to be added in the relatively future?

(see 1.1, 1.9, 2.1, 2.7, 4.2, 5.1, 6.2, 6.5, 8.1, 8.4, and 8.6 for examples)

Also, for 8.2, this topic is used to describe the New Scratcher status. While it is great and I have nothing against jvvg, @ScratchCat recently posted this topic: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/515548/. Wouldn’t it make more sense to use an actual Scratch Team members’ words?

No I mean if they allow f4f and advertising on scratch then why do I receive an alert about it

Banning f4f across the entire website is rejected, but if a user doesn't want f4f requests on their profile or projects, that's their decision and should be respected.

Nowhere does the rejected suggestion say anything about banning advertising everywhere, but the same rules about f4f previously stated apply to advertising as well. As far as advertising and f4f go, what the creator says goes.

However, there are a few more rules about this subject that the ST explains way better than I do, so please check out this topic.

That's correct. Essentially, those suggestions are “regular suggestions,” and in particular are not rejected.

I think @jvvg's post sounds correct and is also more detailed. I also trust @jvvg and therefore have no problems with linking that post.

With this update I am curious as to if it would potentially increase the chances of increasing the reply limit becoming unrejected. (I do not expect this to happen anytime soon, in fact, I don't expect it at all.)
