Hi, scratchers. I realised a lot of projects have intro and outro but I don't have an intro and outro. Actually, is intro and outro important? Will it add loves, faves and views for the project? Or do you think it's quite annoying? Hope you can answer . Thanks

In my opinion,

1. People visit a game because they think the game is interesting, based on the thumbnail or title
2. People are more interested to see the works of the game, rather than the intro and outro. For example, some of the most famous scratches do not have intro nor outros, but they get high significant amounts of popularity, as in faves or loves.
3. Some people might be annoyed to see intros or outros. For example, if an intro is particularly long, a player might lose interest on the project before even starting to play it. You can apply intros and outros to short games, but I suggest you to make short intros.

These are my opinions, so do not take them too seriously, and I advise this: Scratch on!

Intros are useful for beginning because without the intro the game starting all of a sudden is kind of boring for the user I recommend using an intro thats only like for 5-10 seconds not more than that. If you use a 20 second intro people get annoyed and they might just get bored. Without outro/ending the user would think the game is broken, when the user wins there should be an outro with an interesting ending text and interesting projects link.

No, intros and outros are not important. In my opinion, intros are noisy, eyeball-scorching wastes of time.

It is not required but if you want to, feel free to.

But most are flashy and cringe sadly

If the project is good people will like it even without an intro

I just click off if an intro is any longer than two seconds. I nearly always stop before an outro opportuinity.

intros are one of the most annoying things to many scratchers, and the only reason its there is to show the project creator's name spinning around i guess, which isnt important at all
