Bc we already have a good url, and the point of the forums are to discuss. If we wanted to transfer the URL to that, you'd have to change a bunch of other URLs too. (50000+) Because of all the topics created, and then the posts on the topics.
It'd just be hard, and we already have a fine URL that people know.

No support, this would be a nightmare for the Scratch Team to implement, just think about how many topics there are! Not to mention, a URL like that is unnecessary, we already have one that works perfectly fine.

Why is this needed, exactly? This would be incredibly difficult to implement, since there are over 5,000 forum topics, and there's nothing wrong with scratch.mit.edu/discuss.

I don't think this is needed. The current URL also resembles what we have for projects and studios

a more useful change would be /discuss/topic/:id –> /discuss/topics/:id (and the same for post –> posts) to match /users/:name and /projects/:id
disclaimer: sometimes my posts are pretty critical of the scratch team (especially my older ones), but i really do
scratch & scratch team. jvvg made a short essay thing about the scratch team, which is a pretty good read, if you want a different perspective for the scratch team's actions.

Scratch lab is it's own thing, not totally part of the scratch community. It even has it's own color scheme. (that greenish color)
