A Suggestion for Reporting a Profile

Sometimes people on Scratch share a project with some not very Scratch-friendly words, or in general just not a very good thing and make it their Featured Project. Then, they unshare it, so others can't report the project on the project page.

I think we should add a “Report Featured Project” button to the “Report this Profile” section. That way the unshared projects can be removed from the website.

Thank you for listening!

Use Contact Us in that scenario, as that would be rare, and you can usually just report the project itself.

my brother says contact us takes too long
he told me he appealed his ban and it took 2 days for them to respond which seems like a long time since i normally respond to messages in less than a few hours unless i am sleeping

You don't need that button it would look messy and unrequired. Instead you can go to the project page and report it.

It appears that you did not read the OP carefully.

An unshared project can be featured, and if you click on the featured project it takes you to a 404 error page.

The OP is suggesting that a category be added to report the featured project, so that if the featured project is unshared you can still report it.

Do understand that Scratch is having almost twice the messages in contact us, so please be patient with them. If you got 1000+ messages a day, it'd be hard for you to respond to them all in “less than a few hours.”

Yes, please use contact us. And if the project is unshared then you can still use contact us even if you can't report the project seperatly.

Hope this Helps!

If the project was shared, I agree. But since some featured projects are unshared, I would like to have this feature

This is my signature. It doesn’t like to be noticed, so please don’t look at it.

People are being silly. You can't go to the project page, because the project is NOT shared. Why does no one ever read the topic? Anyway, due to the fact that this is an exploit and not everyone will do it, I think it's better to use contact us, or make a suggestion to patch this exploit.
