Transparency

Sorry it's very small and blurry, but look at the thing where you can choose your colour. I am suggesting that there should be something where you can choose the transparency. It would be very useful when you want to draw transparent things for you game or animation. Right now it has three, and maybe it can have a fourth one for transparency.

Support. I agree, it would be amazing and useful!
Here's a cool workaround btw:

Go to the costumes tab.

edit: misunderstood op
Seems like a smart idea. I support, although I believe opacity is the word you're looking for it really isn't and I know it meaning that I am making a big fool of myself

I'm a she btw. I would find it very useful because I am going to make a character with a transparent visor.

4.4 You may only submit user-generated projects that were created with (1) the Scratch website editor or (2) an unmodified copy of the Scratch editor compiled from the source code described in Section 5.3. You may not upload any projects that were created, by you or by anyone else, with a modified version of the Scratch editor.

Actually you're allowed to. If you couldn't, then you wouldn't be able to use the official scratch desktop editorDON'T!!!I'm a she btw. No, you're not. You are allowed to use the official desktop editor because of this line:Actually you're allowed to. The source code for Scratch 1.4 is available for download and subject to the copyright notice as indicated on the Scratch FAQ page. And so the official scratch desktop uses Scratch 3.0, so you would be breaking the rules if you used it (If the rules even have any meaning…)
Also they don't compile any differently so it wouldn't break the rules anyways (I think)

I don't get what the problem here is. You can use TurboWarp, and you won't get banned for it, because it isn't like it's against the terms of service or anything. I've used it before, uploaded a project from it onto scratch, shared it, and nothing happened to me. So logically, it's fine to use this tool, just as long as you don't use any blocks specific to TurboWarp.

The transparency function isn't a problem. One way to work around the terms of service, would be to make a vector image or a bit map image using transparency, download the image itself, and upload it into a scratch project. There. Technically, you didn't upload a project made with a modified version of scratch, you uploaded an image made with it.

Full support! This would be a great addition to the artistic community.
I'm an artist (and animator) and I would love if something like this was implemented so we didn't have to use the gradients all the time

Something tells me this is a dupe, but I didn't see this idea before so…
