I first created a palette of emojis used for the colors. Then I prepared a 16x16 grid of black squares (transparency) and also opened the Copper Fish sprite in an image editor.
Then I just did the rest by deleting and pasting emojis and looking at the sprite.
(also it was made in an unmoderated chat plaftorm btw)
