Um okay so here we can put our words for the short story:
Remember: At east 3 people have to collaborate on this, and we need a minimum of 800 words. I'd recommend writing around 200 words per person just so at least four people can write, so we'd meet the requirement for the war. Attach your writing below, and make sure to add at least 100 words per post, that way this thread isn't too cluttered.
Plot: A girl who is going through insecurities manages to time travel back to the Viking age, and stumbles upon a small village.

Plot: A girl who is going through insecurities manages to time travel back to the Viking age, and stumbles upon a small village.
A teenage girl named Bloom has a lot of insecurities. She is made to go to a science museum with billions of people with it. She anxiously goes to the museum and checks the place out with everyone staring at her she feels even more uncomfortable. Until she goes to the time machine room which is forbidden but she enters it anyway thinking what harm can happen. She checks out the time machine and accidentally press’s one of the buttons and gets time travelled back to the Viking age. “What place is this, it looks so old and all” says Bloom. She searches for people who could help them until she finds a small village.
She looked around and saw some Viking’s. She quietly got to a side and started observing everything. One of the Viking kids saw her and shouted “Hey everybody look there’s someone here.” Luckily the Vikings Bloom met with were not bad people they welcomed her and the chief said “Who are you girl and what is it with your odd appearance” Bloom replied “I am Bloom and I have come from the future to this place and don’t know where I am” The chief laughed after hearing Blooms reply.

(I'll continue if that's ok?)
“If that's what you say,” he said, with a trace of amusement in his voice. “You do want to get back home, don't you?”
“Of course,” Bloom squeaked. Even though the Vikings she met were kind, she still felt nervous about them. They were Vikings, after all. Burly beasts of people, who swung axes around all day and wore creepy horned helmets. “C-can you help me?”
“We shall see,” the chief replied. “Meanwhile, I'll find someone to show you around the village.”
A blond girl, about the same age as Bloom, jumped forward. “I could do it!”
“Alright, Sigrid,” the chief replied. “Take Bloom and get her settled in. I'll call a village meeting after, and we'll see what we will do.”
Bloom nodded nervously as she went away towards the village with Sigrid. Hopefully nothing bad will happen to her. She found it interesting that she and the Vikings could understand each other.
Sigrid showed Bloom around, but she was too nervous to pay much attention. She didn't talk much to Sigrid either, in the fear that she would do something wrong. Soon, the chief called Bloom into his hut.
“We'll talk about everything,” he told her.

“H-how did I get here?” Bloom stared deep into the Vikings' clear blue eyes.
“I don't quite understand it myself,” the chief declared in a booming voice, leaning on their treasured axe and yawning. “Seems like you just fell out of the sky, young one.” They yawned and picked at their teeth. They yawned and closed their eyes.
“The real question is, how do I get back?” I turned away and stared at the village homes. “And what do you mean, fell out of the sky?”
The chief's eyes shot open. “Oh, gee, never really thought about that…” They fingered their axe and started mumbling to themselves. “I don't know,” they finally said, yawning again and playing with their axe. “And you really did fall out of the sky.”
“Oh, wow, that helps tremendously,” Bloom grumbled in a sarcastic voice, sitting down in the green grass and staring deep into the light blue sky. She fiddled with a blade of grass and sighed, the bright, hot sun shining down on the village.
“So, I'm stuck here?” Her eyes filled with tears and she stared down at the emerald ground.
“Until we find out how to get you out…” The chief sighed and turned to her.
“…yes.”
Bloom put her head into her hands and started to cry. This was it. She was stranded here, and possibly forever. There was nothing here. Nothing. She cried and cried until her face was soaked and slippery, the chief just standing there helplessly, not knowing what to do.
“Um…” The chief raised their hand. “Maybe we could investigate the whole matter? Find out how you fell out of the sky and figure this whole thing out? Maybe? I don't quite understand future beings' feelings, but I do know if I was stuck in a different timeline I would freak out. So, you're safe with us. We'll get you back, don't worry.”
Bloom smiled. “Thank you. Really, thanks.” She sat up and looked straight at the sky, the clouds billowing and taking shape, floating across the blue sheet of sky like a thick ball of cottony mist. “Maybe this place isn't the worst thing in the world, after all.” She grinned at the chief and nodded. “I won’t mind if I have to stay for a while.”
The chief grinned. “I won’t, either.”
“I finished your room!” Sigrid came bounding into the conversation, excited as anything, her blond hair bouncing in a sheet around her head. Bloom and the chief just stared at her, nowhere near close to jaunty.
“Thanks for ruining a moment,” the chief mumbled, grabbing their axe and striding away.
“Sorry, chief.” Sigrid laughed nervously, causing a smile to fall onto Bloom’s face.
