Can you put an option to leave old classes?

I was in a coding class 4 years ago and the teacher added me to the class, she retired a long time ago, and me and my friend @collibra000 are still in the class, and we are not 2nd graders anymore, so if you could add a leave class option that would be great

Hmm. I don't think it is a good idea. A student could just leave it so they would not have to be managed by the teacher.

I don't know a ton about the classes feature, but here's my ideas on how this could work:
I don't know if having a year pass would be the best option because the classes could span for longer than a year, so I think that a scratcher could request to leave a class, and the teacher would have to approve it. I think that there should be an option to set an end date to a class, and after that date a student could choose to leave the class without a needed approval. There should also be an option for a class to not have an end date if the teacher wants that to be the case.

Maybe a better idea is this: Only the teacher could let students leave the class. If they forgot to let you leave the class, you could send a request to leave (you could only request if 1 or more students have left)

That wouldn't work, because nobody can leave if the teacher doesn't let anyone leave.

Even if you could, there is no way for teachers to remove students from a class (I don't think).
