What is your dream PC build?
Oh no it's very sketchy.Probably. It's also accurate considering it is ~4,000 pixels wide. Far from the sketches marketing practices.If we're going to talk about what 2K, 4K and 8K actually are, then neither 1440p nor 1080p are 2K.I'm guessing the only reason why we refer to computer monitors and video as 4K is because it sounds cooler in marketing and better for non-technical people to understand than 2160p.
DCI defines the official 2K for cinema (which is what 2K, 4K and 8K actually are for) as being 2048×1080 and NOT 1920 by 1080.
Just like how 4K is actually just 2160p and not the 4K standard of 4096 × 2160 and NOT 3840 by 2160.
They jumped from measuring via height in pixels to width.
1080p to 2160p (4k) is only double the pixels in each direction. Because this was not specified, a lot of people think 4k is 4000 pixels tall.
Which is what 8k is. 4320p
1920 by 1080 -> 1080p / “2K”
3840 by 2160 -> 2160p / 4K
7680 by 4320 -> 4320p / 8K

Oh no it's very sketchy.And it's only an estimation of the width of the screen too. While 1080p told you that the screen is 1080 pixels tall, 4K is off by 160 pixels to telling the true width of the display.

Yes they did change the measurement system, but they are keeping it the same with 4K and up.Oh no it's very sketchy.Probably. It's also accurate considering it is ~4,000 pixels wide. I think it's fine, and considering it is an already accepted standard it is definitely reasonable to use.

1 Shader Unit.i would want 1 graphicsSo just a singular graphical unit?
How would that work?
Nothing else.
Just dig a shader unit out of the silicon with a box cutter and hope the the best when you shove it in a USB port.

What is your dream PC build?
A Modern Windows ME/XP Pc!Now that is a genuinely good idea!
We thinking the best components you can get for an XP machine and building it like a sleeper, or are would you build a battlestation with the best components you could get from that era?
This is something I'd do if I had the money!

I like how you completely didn't mention that they also said Windows ME in your postA Modern Windows ME/XP Pc!Now that is a genuinely good idea!

What is your dream PC build?
Dang this topic is old
And very quiet.
But I might as well post ultimate PC while I'm here.
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (already own a 5800X)
ROG Strix X570-E motherboard
Dual NVidia GeForce RTX 3090 (maybe a Gigabyte or ROG variant)
128GB DDR4 @3200 or 3600 MHz (RGB for extra points)
Samsung 980 Pro x2 (preferably 2TB)
Samsung 870 QVO 8TB SATA SSD
Western Digital Ultrastsr 18TB hard drive (yes, much capacity)
Power supply with at least 1200W
Gigabyte AORUS C700 Full tower case w/ Corsair 360mm liquid cooler (maybe custom cooling loop idk)
Samsung Odyssey G7 27" monitor x 3
Steelseries Apex Pro mechanical keyboard
Logitech G502 Mouse w/ wireless charging mousepad
Total cost is around 18500 AUD considering stock limitations and overpriced GPUs.
Current PC sits around 3000 AUD.

AMD has a workstation GPU that I'd really like to have 48 of (yeah, 48 of those) to jam into a supersized PC. That and 32 16-core Xeon processors and a couple of terabytes of RAM.Go to drive letter xd
That would be my dream build. xD
