Jazz music!
So I am kind of a jazz nerd. I love listening to it, and learning how to improvise. I play trumpet in three jazz groups at my school, and go to local jam sessions to hang out. Anyways, here are some of my favourites:
Trumpeter: Clifford Brown
Saxophonist: Cannonball Adderley
Improviser: Cannonball Adderley again
Band: Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers
Album: Moanin' by the above band
Recorded solo: Currently OBSESSED with Lee Morgan's solo on the title tune of the above item
Standard: Autumn Leaves (at least currently)
Any other jazz fans out there? What do you like to listen to/play? It'd be great to hear from you!
